Open your heart, I’ll make you love me…
(Today, I’m handing it over to Pepi – he’s got something to say!)
Hey there beautifuls!
You’ve heard the real story. But fiction is so much better.
Grab a copy of my new books, Pepi Meets Maxi and Pepi Moves House :
FREE just for YOU until midnight Monday, 14 July (Pacific Standard Time).
But wait, there’s more!
When you leave a comment and become a loyal blog follower (kisses if you are already), you’ll go in the draw to win one of five Hello Pepi key rings:
There will also be free days coming up for my first three books, so if you don’t have a copy already:
Of course, if you like my story, I’ll love you to bits if you’d consider sharing it. Or writing a review.
It’s a big world out there for one small dog.
And lonely, too.
We have to work hard to be seen.
And even harder to be loved.
But the thing about us is, if you just give us a chance…
(One word, one line, one look is all it takes)
…we’ll give back multitudes in love.
(Okay, some other things as well, but mostly love).
Please.
I don’t really like to beg.
But you’re the one holding the key…
…One is such a lonely number.
Who’s your favourite fur friend?
Woo! Exciting! : )
Yay! Yes, it is 🙂
Yay!
What does Madonna have to do with Pepi?!
My favourite nephew, thank you for sharing Pepi with the world. Big hugs!!
As for Madonna, Pepi has a dance playlist! And Open Your Heart is a song he would sing loudly to the world… though I have taken your advice. Much appreciation due 😉
Reblogged this on boy with a hat and commented:
You must meet this puppy…
xoxo
That is really cute and exciting!! Here’s wishing you luck in all your endeavours.
Hugs and Kisses to you and Pepi! 🙂
Hugs, kisses and a couple of noisy barks to you! Wroo wroo! 🙂
Fantastic! I love how the books seem delightfully old-fashioned, like a book that might have been our mother’s favourite when she was a child or something! (Does that sound like we share the same mother?). Well done for getting your books out there!
Mother’s, mothers’…it’s all the same! Yes, that feeling of nostalgia is the look I was going for, so that makes me smile and do a little happy dance, thank you! 🙂
Me, me, me!! I would love for my 6 year old niece to read these books. She will absolutely love them and especially since they just got a new dog named Olive. Who could ever say no to Pepi the cutie?? 🙂
Well, I never could! 🙂 Yay, these books are perfect for kids with new pups… I hope she falls in love. So cute. What sort of dog is Olive?
Pepi is so cute Alarna! So glad you’re back!
Thanks Karen! I wasn’t far away… real life has been rather demanding of me this year, though 🙂
Yeah Alarna!
Good luck and a lot of success! I just downloaded them. I’m sharing your post now on FB and Twitter.
You’re the best, Rita. That means a lot! Thanks so much xo
Thank you! Just downloaded them and looking forward to the read. 🙂
You’re welcome! Thank you for downloading – that’s awesome 🙂
Exciting! The illustrations are so cute–awesome that you’re putting them on key chains. Congrats!!!
Just a bit of fun! Thanks, Coleen 🙂
Alarna!
My favorite friend is not fur, they’re feathered. We have a very soft and lovely cat named Plum but she seems to have a fairly monogamous thing going with J, so that leaves me (quite happily) out in the cold with the crows.
Hello! I’ve missed you!
Everybody needs a cat called Plum! Though she will rightfully snub the one who favours feathered friends. I bet they’re smug 🙂 Lovely to see you! xox
Pepi!! OMG! Congratulations, Alarna!
My favorite furball is under my chair at the moment. Why she wants to be down there with the dangerous roller feet is beyond me, as she’s got a huge plumy tail that could easily get run over. But whatever. I loves her.
Yay! Pepi’s finally escaped the locked room 😉
I know if I were a small furry thing of that size, I would stay away from all rolling stomping torture devices. There’s love and trust for you 🙂
Keyring, keyring, keyring!
🙂 🙂 🙂
Congratulations on the publications!!! You rock Alarna!
Oh, thanks Susie, so do you! And we just passed each other over there on infamous boy’s blog 🙂
Ha! I’m trying to catch up!
Me too!
Hey Alarna, I tried to follow your blog via email (the left hand side of this page link), but the link wouldn’t work. I ended up just going into my reader and finding you there to follow). I don’t know if it’s just me znd my silly computer or if the link is broken at your end.
Anyway, I’ve rattled on long enough. I’m heading over now to get my copy of Pepi! 😀
Oh, how lovely! Thanks for letting me know about the link, too. I’ll check it out when I get a chance 😀
Hello! Feel free to watch my new photo album “Roses” Greetings
Thanks for visiting 🙂
Alarna they look gorgeous can we buy them in a store? Or only online. Love the key rings too. You are such a talented soul.
Hi Kath, unfortunately there’s no hard copies yet… Only eBooks at this stage, though I would love to get a ‘real’ one out there one day! As for the gorgeous pics, that’s the illustrator’s magic 🙂
Hi Alarna, Loved Pepi. My take on Pepi books 1 to 3 http://booksearchjourney.wordpress.com/2014/07/19/hello-pepi-a-toy-dog-for-real/
Hope my friends in FB will like him too. 🙂
Mamta, so thrilled by this review – thank you so much! I’ve also shared your post on Twitter and Facebook. What a wonderful start to the day 🙂
Congratulations! Your books are wonderful. Cheers! To a wild and wonderful book launch.
I’m super late to this party, but yay! Congratulations! Do you need to read the books in order, or could I start with #5? Very excited to explore Pepi’s world. (And I loved your Amazon bio.) xo
Oh, thanks Judy! I had fun writing that bio 🙂
You could read #5 first and still understand what’s going – the tales are more or less self contained. But as the stories chronicle Pepi’s life from puppyhood to old age, it might be more fun to read them in order. Book 4, especially, gives context to Book 5 as it is where Pepi and Maxi meet before it all goes horribly wrong 😉
